In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who finish the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
